Hello and welcome to my personal blog. Thank you for visiting this space and I hope you find useful information. If you've already ventured through the blog, you might have noticed I write about a bit of everything: movie and book reviews, thoughts, or reflections. But the main topic here is programming, especially Python programming.
A little about me. My name is Carlos, I have two cats: Milan and Kundera (you can guess my favorite novelist). By profession, I am a Systems Engineer and since I discovered Python, I got hooked. I like its community, its syntax, its simplicity, and its widespread use in different areas. That's why I decided to create this blog, to share a bit of what I've learned and continue to learn about this language.
In 2020 I started delving into Data Engineering and in 2022 I decided to move to England. I wanted to know what it felt like to live abroad, test my English, see how the technological dynamics are outside of Latin America, and well, here I am, in the country of cows with bangs and fish and chips.
In 2023 I started a Master's Degree in Data Science at the Universitat oberta de Catalunya which I am still studying to this date.

When I'm not programming, I like to watch Japanese animation movies, especially from Studio Ghibli. I also enjoy making origami, it's one of my favorite hobbies, I read and listen to Mashup . There is still a lot of ink to turn into experiences...
