I haven’t written for several months now, I’ve been quite busy with some university projects and writing my final year thesis, that day is finally approaching. A year has passed since that print (“Hello World”) and it has been a very rewarding experience for me having decided to create this blog. On August 12, 2015 I wrote my first post, at first I was not entirely sure about the idea of writing, because I have never considered myself good at the subject, the only thing I wrote well was lines of code and I thought that a blog was quite a challenge for me, but at the same time I thought it would be selfish of me not to share what I have learned and continue to learn, and some other reflections.

I am very surprised that people from other countries read my articles; According to Google analytics, people from Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, even Spain and the United Kingdom have visited the blog (Iraq? …). Although it is obvious that the highest rate of people visiting the site is from Colombia.

countries

The most visited article is one that took me no less than 10 minutes to write: Very stylish graphical interfaces using Python and PyQT (something quite peculiar), followed by a tutorial on the Management and Installation of TortoiseGit. Although I am proud of the series of articles where I explain how to create an application using Django 1.8 (even if they don’t have the highest number of visits hahaha).

Since I started writing on this site I made it very clear that the posts would not have a specific sequence, but I was going to try to write once a week, a goal that I have not fulfilled to the letter. But I prefer quality over quantity when writing. Right now I have a little more free time and new articles are coming, because in these months of absence I have learned great things that I want to show you.

And with the above I say goodbye, see you in a new post. See you soon.
