Moon of Pluto by Dross, my opinion

Holding Pluto’s Moon.
About a month ago I finished reading Pluto’s Moon, a book written by a youtuber who calls himself Dross Rotzank, or simply Dross. The truth is that I have been watching this character’s videos on the Internet for a considerable time (six years or so) and I was looking forward to the day when he decided to publish one of his books. Today I want to tell you a little about the image that Moon of Pluto left me as a reader, I hope you like it.

2015 would be the year (specifically at the end of it) in which Pluto’s Moon would see the light and emerge from the anonymity in which it remained for some years (I did not know the latter until much later). At the precise moment that I heard the news, many doubts came to my mind, the main one: would it be a book published for fashion? If the answer was affirmative, that meant that the quality of the book was not going to be so good, since Dross was going to publish his work just because, because perhaps his manager advised him so and the money was just around the corner. I thought of the above because the launch of Moon of Pluto coincided in time and space with the fashion of some youtubers of publishing a book (in my opinion more for marketing than for the love of writing), books that also do not have very good reviews. I couldn’t be more wrong.
When I started reading Moon of Pluto, all my doubts regarding the above disappeared, from the first page you realize the quality and the desire that the writer has to immerse us in his world, to introduce us to each character, to describe all the scenarios in great detail, to make us part of his universe. Aspects that are achieved only when you have put effort and desire into it, in addition to having studied for it. Reading is not tiring, it is too fresh and understandable as well as fun.

Definitely, this book could not have been written in one month to be published the next and thus earn a few pesos. No! This book could only have been written by someone who knew how to write stories and, furthermore, in a considerable amount of time. Then I realized that Moon of Pluto was the first book written by Dross in 2005 (you see, I watched videos of him a while ago, and I had no idea about this…), which finally confirmed what I thought. I will try not to give spoilers by telling a little about what the book is about.
It all begins in an old amusement park called Jumbo Jumbo, where Knaach lives, a brave lion who will become friends with Claudia, a naive and a little spoiled girl. Together they will embark on a great adventure to save the solar system and its inhabitants from a devastating end. To achieve this, two races of the solar system (Claudia is part of one of them) must put aside their differences and work as a team, only then will they be able to win. Along the way we will meet incredible beings (like the Nereidians, the Zeyas or Captain Gargajo) and very funny ones (like those who have their heads between their legs) as well as amazing places like Titan, with its relaxing surroundings, also very dark places like the great Imperial Grim Reaper.
Friendship, camaraderie, tolerance, adventure and a pinch of black humor, that and much more you can find in this book, it goes without saying that it has left me more than satisfied. I hope you are encouraged to read it because there are strong rumors of a second part and, if you have already read it, you can leave below in the comments what you thought of it, without further ado, see you in a future entry. See you soon.
